Beckham News
Ok First. (SCREAMS!) BECKHAM ON A RETURN TO THE P.L :
"Never say never. I would definitely consider it. When I left my heart was in Manchester - I couldn't see myself playing against United. Now I wouldn't rule it out.
(GRABS SIR ALEX'S SLEEVE & SCREAMS PLEASE PLEASE!)

And then: Beckham says NO to doing risque ad with Angelina Jolie!
He told US TV show Extra: “She is an amazing person and so is Brad. They’re an incredible couple and they have an amazing family. You know she wouldn’t do it and I wouldn’t do it.
“At the end of the day, I wouldn’t do it because I’m married.”
“At the end of the day, I wouldn’t do it because I’m married.”
Have I mentioned I love this man? I may have forgotten / misplaced my adoration during his LA stint. However, ok now that we've all gotten our heads on straight...I'm back to loving him again. May all women find love like his for Posh. :)

Ferguson has spoken
IE: GOD HAS SPOKEN

The great man is happy with the squad we have ~ and is quoted as saying: "Stories about who we are supposed to be getting - forget it."
I must agree with him there. I am thrilled with our team as it is. In fact I have honest goosebumps just reading the story. I'm ready for the new season!
Also in news: POOR KEIKO's BEEN BURGLED!
Awful news for the boy. That's just not fair at all, and his friend's had to go to the hospital as well. Hugs to Keiko. Hope it doesn't affect his game...

Obertan Signing
Manchester United have signed French winger Gabriel Obertan from Bordeaux on a four-year contract.
Hate to admit it but three seconds ago I had no idea who he was. Wikipedia to the rescue!

Rooney - Becareful!
Apparently Rooney was having a bit too much fun & it ended up in stitches!
"A source at the hospital said: "Mr Rooney arrived at about 9am after an accident on the deck of a yacht.
"Part of his ear had been nearly sliced off. It was really difficult to sew back up because it was bleeding so profusely, so we called in a specialist cosmetic surgeon. The work was delicate, but the operation was completely successful and the ear is expected to look no different once it has healed.""
Gasps in horror. Seems he's fine now. I do hope so. Best of recovery wishes...worrying over him like a mother. Gosh golly.
Kiko

Federico "Kiko" Macheda is looking great on vacation. Hope he's enjoying it while he's got it, cause I doubt if he'll much of a chance to sit on the bench in the upcoming season.
As if we didn't love him from his first miraculous seconds on the pitch. This article from the Mirror Uk just completely stole my heart. He saved his family from poverty. He scores a goal with his first moments as a ManU player. Now that my friend is the kind of player we want & need! Good on you Kiko! Can't wait for the new season to see what he brings to the table.

Michael Owen Red Devil

Welcome to the club!
I've been a fan since the last world cup. It would be nice to see him in the shirt, if he can live up to it. That's a tall order, and I'm just a little skeptical. So we'll see what he can do once Sir Alex has him trained in our fashion. I for one trust Sir Alex with every thing I've got.

Hereos
In the news today my heroes...Camp Leatherneck in Afghanistan...my prayers and heart is with them. There really are no words just the sound of the silent prayer my heart makes with each breath...
And then there was my former hero Cristiano...and overwhelming thankfulness that he no longer stands with Manchester United. However the story went down - a teenage girl got hurt over the head of a photograph and an ego out of control.
Granted the paps are too much to handle. Grant footballers deserve a life outside the game on the mini-vacation time they get. But you have to wonder at what point your ego gets so inflated you think such outlandish behavior is appropriate over photographs...
I've read a great many statements saying that ManU will be for the worse with out him. I might have thought so once myself. Now I have to really think about that statement and come to the conclusion that ManU will be able to have football for football's sake and not record signings, endless speculation on leaving or staying, petulant tantrums and lack of tracking back on plays. And you know ... I think we'll be for the better!!
We'll have one order of Rooney as striker please. He plays with the passion I feel for the sport. His heart is in the right place. He's a God of the pitch. He's a husband to a good woman and soon to be a father. A good man all around and if we put him up as a striker...If we put the heart of the team right up there...we won't be for the worse at all! We'll be playing football with passion for football's sake.
And it isn't as if we don't have the best players in the world to follow him into the battle as well. Worse for loosing Cristiano? Oh I don't think so. Sad to see he's not the man who I thought he was ...but I don't see any of us standing at the door wringing out tears either.
